# InfraCanvas

> InfraCanvas is a cloud platform for real-time infrastructure topology. It shows your VMs, Docker containers, and Kubernetes clusters as one live, interactive map — with health status, logs, web terminals, and actions built in. Install one lightweight agent per server and your whole stack appears on a canvas in under 60 seconds.

## What it is
- A SaaS product at https://cloud.infracanvas.app (free tier, no credit card).
- One agent per Linux VM, connects outbound only — no inbound ports, no firewall changes, no VPN.
- Unifies VMs + Docker + Kubernetes + LXC/LXD in a single topology view (most tools only do one).
- Includes a web terminal, live logs, and actions (restart, scale, exec) directly from the canvas.
- AI-native: an MCP server lets Claude and other assistants query and control your infrastructure in natural language.

## Who it's for
Software teams, startups, and DevOps/platform engineers running cloud or on-prem servers who want to see what's running, what's broken, and how it all connects — without SSHing into boxes and stitching together kubectl, docker ps, and ss output.

## How it compares
- vs Lens / kubectl: those show one Kubernetes cluster; InfraCanvas shows VMs, Docker, and K8s together with real network edges.
- vs Weave Scope: InfraCanvas is modern and actively maintained, and supports VMs and Docker, not just K8s.
- vs Datadog / Grafana: those are metrics/alerting platforms (graphs over time); InfraCanvas is a topology tool (live structure right now). They complement each other.

## Pricing
- Free: 3 VMs, 2 team members, 30-day retention. No credit card.
- Starter $19/mo: 10 VMs, AI assistant, alerts.
- Pro $49/mo: 30 VMs, MCP server, 1-year history.
- Scale $149/mo: 100 VMs, unlimited members, SLA.
- Enterprise: custom (SSO, on-prem, volume) — hello@infracanvas.app.
Annual billing gives 2 months free.

## Security
Outbound-only agent. TLS in transit. Secret env vars (TOKEN/KEY/PASSWORD/etc.) auto-redacted before leaving the host. Runs as your user, not root. Role-based access control (owner/admin/operator/viewer).
